13. You’ve Gotta Die From Something?

Welcome to the thirteenth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

I like the sign “Your retirement years depend on what you do right now.” Granted that’s a sign at an investment firm, but it matches what we’re going to talk about to a T.

“You’ve gotta die from something. May as well be what you eat, so eat what you like.” I hear that all the time.

Ironic, isn’t it? People are choosing their way to die instead of their way to live.

I have a friend who smokes. He has the same type of logic. “I’m gonna die from something. I might just as well enjoy the journey.”

Can you believe it?  Forget the fact that if they didn’t eat all that cholesterol laden food they could add years to their lives. Good years.

Forget the fact that if they didn’t put all that nicotine in their lungs and body they could add even more years to their life. More good years.

Forget the fact that it’s just plain dumb to think about a good way to die.

There is no good way to die. There is usually only pain and heartache. If not for them, then for their families.

So, what can they do?

They can NOT give up. Because, in my book, choosing how to die is giving up.

I know, I know. Not giving up is a lot of work. And work wears you out. Work takes discipline.  But, here’s a cliché for you, work is its own reward.

Like, a good healthy life to spend with your children and grandchildren.

Start getting control of your life. Start saying good things to yourself.

Start with this mantra every morning (and throughout the day). “I am healthy. I heal quickly and easily. If I am worried about my health, I will immediately go to the doctor, get whatever needs to be done fixed and leave with a clean bill of health so I get on with my life. I am through worrying about every little thing. I take charge immediately. Life is meant to be lived with a smile.”

You know why I recommend that?  Because if you aren’t saying that, you might be saying, “I don’t feel good.” And guess what? It’s not followed up with, “I’ll get myself to a doctor and get everything checked out.”

Nope, it’s followed up with the thought, “I’ll get around to it later.”

Change that to your new mantra and see what a change that can make.

Choose how you are going to live, not how you are going to die, because sometimes dying seems to take so much longer than living.

It’s your choice.

12. You Can’t Sing If You’re Dead

Welcome to the twelfth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

I am dedicated to showing people how to live their lives considerately.

We are considerate of others when we live, so doesn’t it make sense to be considerate of those same people when we die. And, yes, this is about funerals.

NOTE: There may be some that actually think people “should” grieve or “have to” grieve at the funeral. People grieve in the way that is best for them. That doesn’t mean it has to be at a time and place that is triggered in their memory for the rest of their lives — the funeral. If you feel they must grieve at your funeral, this isn’t for you. Sorry. I’m all for giving them an option.

Let’s remember that grieving is an individual process. Everyone does it differently. It affects people in different ways when someone dies and leaves them to go to their funeral one day, then to face their lives the next day without them.

The BIG question is:  Why make people suffer more at a funeral than they have to?

NOTE: This is not a recommendation of any sort. I am fully aware of the different aspects of dying, of mourning, of the seriousness of it. I am just showing you options.

How about you? You have to make a choice every time you think about your loved one that has passed over. Are you going to think sad thoughts or are you going to think good thoughts? (You know what I prefer. YOU make your own decision, BUT make it wisely.)

Do you realize that good thoughts will help that person’s soul continue on its journey. Do you realize bad thoughts, such as heartache, pain, despair, loneliness, do not help that person’s soul continue on its journey?

Some people want to have long funerals. However, I don’t. If fellowship is needed, and I feel it is, then have a long reception with planned socializing. Have something that encourages togetherness, so people know they aren’t alone.

The point is, we are all going to die. The point is, we can be in charge of our own funeral. The point is, WE can make OUR funeral set the pace for our loved ones while still being sensitive to their needs.

The reason the experience at the funeral is so important, in case some of you don’t know, is because rarely can people cry their hearts out at the funeral and then go out and live their lives as usual the next day. It’s too hard. We have a memory now of the funeral that we will carry with us. It is up to the person who has passed over to do what they can ahead of time to make sure their funeral sets the right pace, so the memory doesn’t hurt any more than it has to.

We don’t need to march to the old drummer. We need to start living our lives as successfully as we know how. We need to direct our deaths as successfully as we know how… So the living can get on with their lives.

There is a little song below. If you don’t like it, per se, take responsibility to find something to take its place. But only IF you agree that a funeral sets the pace for your loved ones and their memories of you. IF you agree that the sooner a person can start living productively again, they will continue living productively. And, if you agree that we need to change the course funerals have been taking.

You Can’t Sing If You’re Dead… But the congregation can.

This is a song that could play as the casket goes out, but only if you have a sense of humor. I mean no offense.

To the tune of: *If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands!*

“There’s a fly in my casket, close the lid.

There’s a fly in my casket, close the lid.

There’s a fly in my casket, he said he’d stay if I asked it.

There’s a fly in my casket, close the lid.”

Thank you for reading.

11. I am an MPD — Mental Possibility Doctor

Welcome to the eleventh of my 30 daily tips on Health!

I am a Mental Possibility Doctor, as Lisa Nichols, from “The Secret”, says.

I enjoy possibilities.  I enjoy changing possibilities to probabilities. I enjoy changing probabilities to what is happening.

What do you think about that?

Think about your life.  What is happening?  What are the possibilities of you changing it to what you want?  If you think the possibilities are nil, then guess what?  That’s what they are.  BUT, if you think there’s even a tiny, tiny, tiny possibility it could change, then guess what?  There is that possibility.  Which, if you think about it, is much better than you originally thought.

So, let’s play with this.  Be a Mental Possibility Doctor.  Think of all the possibilities there are out there and let that settle in your mind.  Stand back and watch things happen.

Have fun.  Play with it.  Let me know what’s happening, what’s changed in your life that you let change, do to your being a Mental Possibility Doctor.  J

Good luck!

10. You Are The Boss Of Your Body

Welcome to the tenth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Did you know, healthy or not, you can tell your body what you want and your body will respond?

Sometimes it doesn’t feel like it, though, does it?  But have you ever really considered that it will do what you command it to do?

Lisa Nichols says in the “Creative Imagination” audios, “You have the power to command your body ….” Now, that may seem a little too easy and a tad unbelievable, but when done correctly, it works.

So, here’s an idea.  If you would like, why not start off small?

Let’s say you have a little pain.

Ready?  Command your body to fade that pain away.

OK, let’s say you did that and it didn’t work.

I have one question. Were you a wimp?  Or in other words, did you say it in a wimpy tone of voice?  Like you didn’t really mean it?

If you have kids and one of them was misbehaving, what tone of voice do you use? Probably not the one you used on your body.  Here’s a tip, it needs to be loving and commanding at the same time.

OK, so all I’m asking you to do is think about it.

Because it would be so much easier if you had a good relationship with your body. And in that relationship, whatever you tell it to do, it does. Wouldn’t you be so much healthier, and as a result, so much happier?

I think so, don’t you?  How about it if you think about it, maybe practice talking to your body in a loving, yet commanding way… a little bit here, a little bit there.  Have fun with it.  Enjoy life!

Thank you for reading.

9. Wouldn’t You Just Love To Have A Big Ball of Healing Energy?

Welcome to the ninth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

What can a big ball of healing energy do for you? Lots of things. I’ll show you. Let’s visualize a big ball of healing energy.

What color is it? What shape is it? (Some people see a ball of energy in a different shape, but we’ll just call it a ball of energy for this purpose.) How big is it? Does it “feel” like it gives off a big burst of energy?

If it doesn’t feel like it’s full of energy, then change the color and see what happens. Change the shape. Change the size. Keep experimenting until you “feel” the energy emanating from it.

Now, realize you can do many things with this. You can “tone” it down so that the energy is just a pulsating feeling. Or you can fire it up to get all the energy you need. I’m going to suggest that you tone it down now, while you put it in your heart.

There, it’s quietly pulsating, letting you know it’s always there.

Now, you find that you’ve got a pain in your arm. Bring out the ball of energy and let it’s warmth (or coolness) hover in and around your arm. How does that feel? Great, huh? Pain is gone? (If not, redo the ball of energy to make it stronger.)

Now, you received a phone call from someone you don’t like. The third one today? Are you thinking something similar to “Those guys give me a pain in the rear.”? Oh, oh. Now, you’ve got two places to tend to! J First, your head where a headache is forming, then to the pain in the rear you just told your brain you have.

Don’t laugh. When you tell your brain something enough times, it’s definitely listening. You have to take steps to prevent that from happening — and it can’t help but happen, since you’ve probably been programming it for some time now. :) (Seems like everything is giving you a pain in the rear lately, isn’t it? Zap! Zap!)

Now, how about shopping? You want to purchase something, but you don’t have enough money. Hm. How can the energy ball help here? Simple. Send it to your checkbook, then to the item you want to purchase. See how long it takes before you do have enough money!

How about when someone is ill? Work on your body, then work on theirs.

If someone says to you “So and so isn’t good. He’s in a lot of pain.” Oops. What do you usually do when you hear that? You feel badly for the person, don’t you? Again, work on your body, then go and see them and mentally work on theirs. You will have given them a lift in many different ways.

One would be your presence. Another would be your healing beam. And even another would be your attitude. The healing beam works, so no longer do you feel like you have to feel sorry for them. What do they see shining in your eyes now? Hope. And maybe that’s the best thing you could do for them. Help them see hope where no one else does.

Wouldn’t you just love to have a great big ball of energy? The bigger the better, because you’re probably going to be working on a lot of people!

Send the ball of healing energy to someone you need to forgive.

Send it to an area in your life where you feel lack.

Keep sending it out so it can keep coming back again. Remember the Law of Attraction. What you send out must come back. What are you sending out?

Good luck!

8. Do You Know How to Open Your Chakras?

Welcome to the eighth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Your chakras play an important part in your health. In order to feel peaceful, and have a peaceful, healthy body, your chakras should be open and the energy should be flowing freely throughout.

That being the case, here is a centering exercise that you might enjoy.

Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Hold your breath and feel your heartbeat. Exhale, then repeat until you feel calm. Now, breathe normally. Vividly feel an imaginary central force radiating from your heart, expanding throughout your body. Feel your feet connect to the Earth Clear your mind and relax with each breath.

Now, prepare to visualize each chakra opening up as though it were a flower bud awakening to love and light. When you focus on it in a relaxed state, it will happen. Start with your first chakra and work your way up to the seventh. Feel the additional peace flow through you each time one is opened. As you visualize each opening, visualize that area of your body in the color of that particular chakra.

The first chakra is red, and located at the bottom of the tailbone. It brings vitality, life force, into your body. It controls consciousness of survival and wellbeing, security.

The second is orange, and located halfway between your tailbone and naval. It focuses on the physical plane of sensuality, emotion, and pleasure.

The third is yellow, and at the level of the solar plexus, and focuses on will power, decision, volition.

The fourth is green, and is located in your heart. It focuses on love, security, contentment, and benevolence. It is the seat of your soul.

The fifth is sky blue, and located in the center of your throat. It focuses on your psychic consciousness, hearing.

The sixth is indigo blue, and located in the center of your forehead at the level of your eyebrows. It is sometimes called the third eye. It focuses on imagination, visualization, and psychic awareness.

The seventh is violet white, and located in the crown of your head. It focuses on spiritual awakening, inner wisdom, and Enlightenment.

When you have opened your chakras and feel the peace, give thanks. As you give thanks, feel how good THAT feels, and more peace comes.

Thank you for reading.

7. Visualization – Your Brain Thinks in Pictures

Welcome to the seventh of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Your. brain. thinks. in. pictures. This is something I want you to remember FOREVER.

If I asked you to visualize a cow, guess what? Most of you could visualize it easily, because you know exactly what a cow looks like — many know what it sounds like, and a lot know exactly what it smells like. :)

If I asked you to visualize a purple chair, you could “see” that, too, couldn’t you?

If I asked you to visualize a red pencil, yep, you could “see” that, too.

If I asked you to visualize a rose, yep, most of you could “see” that, too.

If I asked you to visualize a “not,” could you? Probably not, right? Because where’s the picture?

So, what if you are saying things to yourself that you think will help you stop a habit? What if you are saying, “I’m not going to smoke. I’m not going to smoke. I’m not going to smoke.” Where does your brain go?

Straight to the smoking picture, right? If that’s your habit, that’s what your brain is most familiar with, that’s the picture your brain made.

How about this, “I’m not going to eat that cookie. I’m not going to eat that cookie. I’m not going to eat that cookie.” Where does your brain go? Straight to “cookie,” right?

How about this, “I’m not going to chew my fingernails. I’m not going to chew my fingernails. I’m not going to chew my fingernails.” Where does your brain go? Yep.

Now, if you want to stop any of these habits, the words you say to yourself MUST go to a picture your brain can identify with, thereby giving it something to gravitate toward.

How about “I have a slim, trim, healthy body.”

Man, that’s a picture, isn’t it? Look at it as often as you can.

Give your brain a direction to go toward.

How about “I have strong, healthy fingernails.”

How about “My lungs are clear of smoke.”

Give your brain pictures that both of you enjoy. Can you imagine the pictures you have been giving it? For shame, huh? You know. Like “I am broke.” “I am stupid.” “I am ugly.” Ug. Find your perfect picture, so your perfect picture can find you!

Give your brain good pictures, live a good life.

Thank you for reading.

6. I walk you through how I helped Mom with her pain

Welcome to the sixth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

I used the “Visualize The Pain” technique, or a variation of it, for my mom many times. I lived over an hour’s drive from her, but we talked on the phone  at 8 in the morning, every week day we could.

If she was having any aches or pains, I helped her and she always felt better afterwards. At this time in her life (she was 81 years old), she was having some hip and knee problems.

This is what we did (and almost anyone can do it). I guided her into visualizing the pain. I asked her to give it a size, a shape, a color, a smell, a taste and a texture. (I realize some of them might be hard to imagine, just do the best you can.) Then I had her slowly turn it into a smooth, hard block of ice. When she had it really hard and icy cold, I’d have her take a laser heat beam and beam into the center of the ice, shattering it. I have her watch as the shattered ice melts. When it is all gone, so is her pain. Sounds simple, I know, but it worked almost every time for her. On the few occasions that it didn’t completely take the pain away, we just repeat the process until it’s gone.

Jan

5. Do you know what a Star Formation is? I’ll bet it’s not what you are thinking…

Welcome to the fifth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Have you ever run energy through your body?  What does running energy do for you?  When you run energy, you unclog blockages in your body that cause illness or pain.

Let me tell you about the Star Formation.  (Use this daily to receive an all-around good feeling and start your  day off right!)

Set the timer for five minutes.

NOTE:  in the beginning, you might not be able to go the whole five minutes and that’s OK. Stop whenever you feel the need to. The thing is to get better and better.

Stand in a place you won’t be disturbed. Spread your arms straight out. The palm of your left hand should be facing up and the palm of your right hand should be facing down.

Your feet should be about shoulder width apart.

Feel the energy coming from the universe into your left palm.

Feel the energy coming from Mother Earth into your right palm.

Feel that energy travel from one palm to the other, back and forth.

Feel the energy spread across your shoulders.

Now, direct the energy to go from you right hand to your left foot, from your left foot to the top of your head, from the top of your head to your right foot, then diagonally back to your left hand.

Thus, you have the Star Formation — the energy moves in the shape of a star. Keep it up until you feel the energy in all parts of your body. Then, spread the energy to the area that needs healing the most.

Thanks for reading,

Jan Tincher

P.S.  I just thought I’d tell you about one of my experiences.  One morning I woke up feeling lousy, so I did the Star Formation.  After a few minutes, I felt much better, but I was weak. I sat in the chair and let my body do nothing but perspire. This may happen to you, so be sure to take the necessary precautions.  One of which is to have a chair close by that you can quickly sit in.  :)

4. Have you ever imagined a laboratory to visualize healing?

Welcome to the fourth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Have you ever used a laboratory to visualize healing?
Your brain is paying attention to everything you say, do, visualize.  That being the case, using/visualizing a laboratory is one of the best ways to methodically show your brain what you want.  You visualize your project being done on the big screen of your mind.   (By the way,
I have used this successfully in many healings!)

So, here’s how you do it:

Sit in a comfortable chair where you won’t be disturbed.

Take three deep breaths.

When you feel relaxed, close your eyes, and count down from 10 to 1, taking a deep breath
at each number. Visualize the number 10 on top of your head, 9 on your forehead, 8 on your nose, 7 on your mouth, 6 on your neck, 5 on both shoulders, 4 on your heart, 3 on your naval, 2 on both knees, and 1 on both feet.  Feel your body relaxing at each interval with each number.

Now, visualize an elevator. Walk into the elevator and take it down 10 floors. Watch the number as you descend.

As the doors open on the first floor, you will see your laboratory. In your laboratory you will see a computer, a big monitor, file drawers, a book shelf filled with all kinds of healing books, and whatever else you need to visualize the healing you are about to do.  If it’s about knees, check out the x-rays you see of knees on the shelf.  There is an x-ray there for whatever you need.

Everything happens with the blink of an eye or a nod of your head.  You don’t have to turn anything on, reach for any book, or physically move if you don’t want to.

Now, see yourself (or the person you are healing) on the big screen without skin. You see your cells, organs, and everything else IN your body, but no skin. Now, have faith in your intuition that you will see any blockages that need to be removed. Use your hands, if you want, and reach into the body which is now 3D.

Rearrange what you need to rearrange, remove what you need to remove.

Visualize love going from your hand to the organ you are touching.  Move organs gently to see if
there’s any problem behind them, or just turn your body around so you can see it from the back. This can be done with the blink of an eye also.

Feel free to visualize your hands reaching in to remove the blockages.  When you are done, gently put everything back into place. If you don’t know what your body organs, or whatever, look like, just use your imagination.

Only good can come when you work with love in your heart. Always be gentle and loving. When you are deep in your levels, you can only work with love. If there are any negative feelings, you won’t be in your levels and you won’t be able to accomplish what you want to accomplish.
When you have done all you can do, walk back to the elevator and go 10 floors up.

When you are there, count yourself out by saying, “3, I am becoming alert and healthy. 2, I am becoming alert and healthy and ready to function at the conscious level. 1. I am alert and healthy and ready to function at the conscious level.”

Open your eyes and feel the vitality that comes from this type of visualization.
