3. Do we attract our illnesses? Really?

Welcome to the third of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Yep.

What?  You don’t believe that?  Well, we do, either consciously or unconsciously. Now, we don’t, usually, do this on purpose, but our internal programming does it nevertheless.  Don’t you think it’s time we wake up and see what we are doing to ourselves?

For example:  We hurt.  We consciously, or unconsciously, acknowledge that we hurt (we claim the pain).  We feel the pain.  We are the pain.

We may even “see” the pain in our mind. And guess what?  It keeps hurting.  Why?

Because, aside from the fact that it really is a pain, what we focus on, with feeling, comes into our lives.  It’s the Law of Attraction.  What we send out, we bring back into our lives. Over and over again.  Until…

Until we change our thoughts.

We need to start taking control of what we focus on/think about and visualization is an excellent way to do this .

Here’s what we can do:

Every morning, sit or lie down and relax for five minutes.

Start each session by breathing slowly and counting on each exhale: 3 3 3 — 2 2 2 — 1 1 1. Then, 10 9 8, then 7 6 5, then 4 3 2, then 1 1 1.

Now that you are relaxed, visualize the pain. Give it a size, a shape, a color, and a texture. Now, see the pain begin to disappear.  Now, see the pain gone.

Repeat this five minute process mid day and again just before you go to sleep.  After the first day, don’t visualize the pain anymore, just visualize the pain leaving.

I hope you like and are able to use this pain technique for yourself and your loved ones.  I care.

2. We’d all like to be proactive in our health, wouldn’t we?

Welcome to the second of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Sometimes,  we need to move around to actually do something to help us feel like we are participating in our healing.  So if you are able to be mobile, and would like to, try this.

If you feel the need to be active, every morning plan to have a regiment of walking around the house, or outside if you like, for fifteen minutes. For the first five minutes, practice good breathing that gives your body a chance to heal. If you are able, breathe in four short breaths through your nose without letting it out. Then, on the exhale, breathe out your nose four short breaths.

For the second five minutes, do a form of affirmations. Start each sentence with “I am so happy and so very grateful, I have (or am, can . . . whatever works for you) __________ . Be thankful for all the things that you list.

Then, for the last five minutes, start each sentence out with “I am so happy and so very grateful, I have (am, can ) __________ .  and list everything you WANT. This last list is your projection of everything you want coming to you. Be creative. Be happy for lots of money, lots of good health, lots of great friends, whatever it is that you want.

Do this every day and notice the changes that start happening in your life!

P.S. Doing the above is what I do when I feel the need to be active and don’t want to:
1. Make myself presentable (I don’t dress for success — or even anything resembling success — when I’m working at home. )
2. Go for a walk outside. (Who knows where I’ll meander off to and how long it’ll take me to get back home)
3. Put in the effort to get past the ice cream store without going in.
4. Forget the fact that I don’t want everyone seeing me talking to myself. :)

1. So what if I worry. Worry doesn’t actually hurt me… Does it?

Welcome to the first of my 30 daily tips on Health!

You know, don’t you, that worry causes pain and illness.

Sometimes, we worry without meaning to. And once we start worrying, what does it bring?

More worry.

And what does more worry do?

It lowers your resistance to illness.

So, I say, learn to be happy.

What can happy do for you?

Nothing bad… And that’s very important.

When you find yourself worrying, stop right there and smile.

As you are smiling, chant, sing or use whatever method you would like, “I now release the pattern in my consciousness that is creating resistance to my good.”

Take a deep breath, then say something like this, “I am filled with unconditional love”. (If that affirmation doesn’t feel right for you, find one that does and use it.) Then, continue on with what you were doing

Repeat as often as necessary throughout the day!

Regarding the question in the title: “So what if I worry.  Worry doesn’t actually hurt me…  Does it?”  Let me ask you this.  After reading this post, why not ask: If I don’t worry, how much happier will I be? The answer could very easily be, VERY HAPPY!
