24  Pain – How Do You Handle It?

Welcome to the twenty-fourth of my 30 daily tips on Health!

Do you suffer pain? Did you know it’s normal for people to have pain, but to suffer pain is a choice?

Pain is inevitable. I repeat, pain is inevitable, but … Suffering is optional.

What you do after the initial pain — regardless of what kind it is, physical, mental, financial, spiritual, social, emotional — is what’s important.

Why?

Because the most important time of your life is…  Right now! Oops. No. It’s right now! Oops. No. It’s right now!

Why?

Because what you are doing, right now, will affect your future. The thoughts you are having, right now, will affect your future.  The actions/reactions you are having, right now, will affect your future.  You are the only one that can do what is right, right now.  You are the only one that can think what is right, right now.  You are the only one that can change your actions and reactions to what is right, right now.

In case you didn’t catch it, right now is the most important time of your life.  Right now is the time to start changing what you don’t like about your life.

Suffering is the post-pain pain. It is the self-inflicted pain we create by choice.

What are we going to do about it?
