Are you having a bad day? Did the boss yell at you, did your spouse get angry at something you did, did your day just plain start out badly?
Well, there’s something you can do about it, and, who knows, you just might grow to like it! You can roll out the red carpet — for yourself! Yes! Try it. Doesn’t that feel great?
Visually roll it out for yourself and imagine walking on it. Doesn’t that make you feel special? You deserve to be treated with respect and care — no matter what. Right? We all do.
Especially if we are having a bad day, or are feeling guilty about something. Or how about if we don’t want to be wherever we are (and are acting accordingly)?
Why? Again. Because you deserve to be treated with respect and care — no matter what. We all do.
Once you roll the red carpet out, it’s your unconscious’ way of telling you — as you visualize that beautiful red carpet — that you are worthy of respect. When you “see” that red carpet, your shoulders go back, you straighten your posture, your eyes are more alert and you are ready to be treated with respect.
Then, guess what? You begin to earn that respect that you know is yours!
Just think how this can help you! How about if you are going for a job interview? Or you are making a cold call? Or you are meeting someone for the first time? You happily visualize the Red Carpet in front of you, unfolding ahead of you wherever you go. Feel how good that feels!
Roll it out for others, too, because they deserve to be treated with respect and care, and visualizing the red carpet for them is your way of doing that. Then, you act accordingly, and isn’t that great?
Do it for everyone and you will see YOUR world changing. Yes, do it for everyone, even that irritably selfish, nosy person you would rather not come into contact with or that person who has treated you horribly or that person who won’t speak to you.
What are you waiting for? Start rolling.
