Question: British apprentice compared to the usa version?

Ive only ever watched the British version up until last night when i watched an episode of the American one. I know they came up with the idea first but the USA version is terrible. For people that have seen both versions, which one do you like best? I think you may have watched the 1st series, im watching that at the moment here in Cali. The 1st series wasnt that great filming wise, i think probably because it was only meant to be a one off. 5 series later its going strong and is alot better.

I agree, the British version is so much better. I can't explain why, the other one is just so.. American lol. Its more talking about eachother than actual business, so dramatised.

I saw some of the original American ones before they made a British version and the production value of the US show, at leat used to be, a lot better.

I caught some of it on BBC America, but was too turned off by the low production value. Not that I need lots of glitz, but some of the interior scenes were so badly lit, it looked like a low budget student film.
