As a talker, you can take full responsibility by being certain
others understand what you are saying.

As a listener, you can take full responsibility for hearing what
the others are trying to say, by saying it back to them as you
understand it.

Taking full responsibility isn't all that hard once you learn to
listen closely and speak specifically. Do this and you will be
a great communicator in no time!
