Do you have unconscious patterns shaping your life?
Sure you do. How about these?
Do you repeat the same daily motions to start your day?
Do you go to the store the same way every time?
How about when you get angry? Do you take the same steps?
First, you have a thought. Then, your body tenses up. Then,
you say the wrong things.
Well, if this isn't what you want in your life, you can change.
You can change the sequence and come up with a different
response. For instance, you can have the thought that normally
starts the anger routine. Then, you realize what is about to
happen and you laugh. Yes, you laugh. Out loud. That stops
the routine of getting angry before you say and do things you'll
regret.
Anger is usually just an unconscious pattern that you have.
Change the pattern, change the outcome.
